Kaiser Permanente Hawaii and Hawaii Nurses Association Joint Communication

Dear Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Clinic RNs:

We understand that the additional closing of clinics may impact you as a Clinic RN and we are committed to identifying alternate solutions in the current economic environment.

In an effort to minimize the impact of Kaiser Permanente (KP) Hawaii Clinic closings on your work hours, the Hawai¢i Nurses Association (HNA) and KP Hawaii have been meeting to explore various options that we hope will help mitigate the impact of these closures.

Our next meeting is scheduled for July 14thIt is our hope that HNA and KP Hawaii will have new options in place before the next closure date in August 2009.

We will notify you of available options.
