Queen's Nurses reach tentative agreement |

A tentative agreement was reached on November 24, 2008 between HNA and Queens. Details follow. Download the full MOA here.
- Job Rate Increase 12/4/08: 4% 12/3/09 : 4% 12/2/10: 4%
- Night Shift Differential
- Increase in second year to $3.00 and $3.25 in the second year
- PTO Usage
- Employees who work on units closed on a recognized holiday shall have the option to utilize their PTO or take the holiday off without pay
- Health Plan Coverage

- Medical
- Increase in employer contribution caps with increase of 14% in the first year and 10% in the second and third year

- Dental Plan
- Increase of maximum to $1,000.00 in the second year of the contract with the addition of an orthodontia rider in the second year
- Retiree Medical
- Increase benefit from eight to ten dollars for employees aged 55 with 20 years of service
- Pension Plan
- Queen’s will continue to offer the current pension plan
- Certification Bonus
- $500.00 for initial certification and $500.00 for recertification
