HI, you’ve reached the Kaiser Hotline Update on May 26, 2009. This is robin Tanner, Kaiser LMP representative and HNA secretary reporting on this week’s updates.
The Kaiser LMP leadership retreat is scheduled for June 1 & 2 to help kick-off the LMP partnership.
The Steering Committee meeting in San Francisco June 11, Jane Hamel, Marina Robinson, Patt Gibbs, and Susan French will attend to represent all HNA KP members in important decisions regarding the coalition.
The Kick- off of LMP Partnership training for ALL Kaiser employees will begin after the LMP leadership retreat.
UBT’s to be started in 3 main areas by the end of 2009. Up to 40 more will be scheduled to be initiated by the end of 2010. This will improve working conditions as well as help make Kaiser Number ONE!

THE HNA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WILL HAVE ITS MONTHLY MEETING ON APRIL 24, 2009, AND THE HNA BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL HOLD ITS QUARTERLY BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING ON APRIL 25, 2009.
AS A REMINDER, WILCOX MEMORIAL HOSPITAL’S CONTRACT EXPIRES MAY 31, 2009. HNA LRS LEAD NEGOTIATOR RANDY PEREZ, FACILITY LRS IRENE PUUOHAU, AND WILCOX BOARD MEMBER AND NURSE NEGOTIATOR CHRIS BROUSSARD HAVE BEEN PREPARING THE TEAM FOR THE UPCOMING SUCCESSFUL BARGAINING SESSIONS.
HNA SHOP STEWARDS WILL HAVE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND AN EXPANDED VERSION OF STEP 1 GRIEVANCE TRAINING. CALL VALERIE HIGA AT 531-1628, EXTENSION 116 TO ATTEND.
